Slowly, He Closed the Door (Poetry)

Early in the morning
A squashy tender kiss
He started my new dawn
With lots of bliss

His feet like a cat, very silent
Walked across the floor
Without any noise
Slowly, he closed the door

He fondly caught me sleeping,
Totally unaware:
That gentle touch, with his hand,
He brushed away my hair

A naughty smile did cross my lips;
He wondered, what was in my dream
I seem to enjoy it, he thought
Or so that it would smile n beam

He settled beside me
And gazed upon my face
His fingertips,
My lips did it lightly trace

A great way to greet the day
As dawn begins to break,
To have my lover,
With a kiss, help me to awake

I floated up in the sky
Lips in a curved up move,

His soft breath rubbing my face
Flower language with my love

And a sudden jolt
Shook me, I woke up
To find out that it was a dream
My Prince Charming was a myth

I longed that the story was true,
My wizard didn’t exist
Just like another day, my lips were dry
My wizard didn’t exist!

Tears born out of my heart, filled my eyes,
Rolled on my cheeks and reached my lips,
Then suddenly from nowhere a feather form his wings
Flew down to wipe the tear tips!

My lips curved up in ecstasy
“Give me, my love, that loving kiss”
My crystal orbs focused on his
Turning all tear traces to bliss
