“Mom's, the best because…”
She is a smile that chases all the blues
The love that understands my tears,
The care that sooths my failures
A hug, that eliminates my fears.
She is the faith that helps me life’s way
An inspiration, that kindles the spark
The confidence, I need day to day
A prayer that illuminates when dark
She is a sacrifice that teaches me love
A hand that gives me a lift
A tear that redeems me from a struggle
A healing touch that mends my wound
She is a rainbow when dark clouds circle
A special gift, that heavens gave me
The warmth that spreads a comfort
The eyes a source of compassion
Her kisses, hugs and long good-byes,
When I was leaving home to a far away land
The tears that filled her eyes
Only moms and daughters understand
Yet she smiles, to make me feel good
She turns to the other side and wipes her tears
Our love grows with passing years
For nothing can destroy or take that love away
The happiness that I derive,
Knowing that she is there...
To care, to appreciate, to listen or brace,
And to rejoice in the memoirs we share.

Yes, but there is that special bond between daughter-mother generally speaking...

But we are very close...I'm saying lovingly and a bit selfishly that as Vani (my daughter, 25 years old now)is getting married at the end of the year, you can well imagine she's into all these wedding mood and excitement (she lives in Melbourne by the way) and chat with her mother everyday about this saree and that wedding party, etc ...
I'm simply excluded from her life at this stage cos I'm just so not interested in sarees, clothes, glmaor, glimmer, etc
I'm just having a good complain about it all, Sophie!
Anyway, the wedding will be in Singapore at end of Nov....
